Chicago 3-Dayer's (from Iowa)

Scary isn't it? Will it be my mother? My sister? One of my nieces? One of my aunts or cousins? One of my co-workers? One of my friends? Or will it be me?
There are over one million women in America with undetected breast cancer. If we told you there was something you could do to help them find out and survive, how far would you be willing to go?
We asked ourselves this question and answered: 60 miles over three days and raise at least $3,800.00 from our friends and supporters in the process.
We each made a personal commitment to participate in the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. On the morning of June 14th we will join over 3,000 other walkers in Kenosha, WI. to begin the journey of a lifetime. We will walk 20 miles a day for three days until we arrive in Chicago, IL. on June 16th. We will walk to support awareness, early detection and treatment programs.
Please support us by donating. All the funds raised by the Avon Products Foundation, Inc. [a nonprofit 501 (c) (3)] work to provide access to quality breast care for medically underserved women and to advance breast cancer research in the United States.
Donating is easy and fully tax deductible. You can donate online using your charge card or mail your check made payable to "Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day" to the address located on the "Donate" page.
When considering how much to donate, please keep in mind how far we’ve committed to walk for this cause and how many hours we’ll be devoting to training and fundraising.
